I want to draw the avatars of Vishnu from the play, and I decided to create a design for Narasimha. He wears an elegant suit—since Vishnu wears one in the play—but Narasimha has fur on his shoulders and wrists, and a snake serves as his tie. He wears pointed jewelry on his ears and pearls as accessories; they are especially prominent in his mane, and he wears pearls on his hands as well.
A shot from the right side and a bit below of a silver idol of a 4-armed Hindu feminine deity (River Ganga, "Ganges") seated with front hands in blessing pose, rear hands holding up icons of "chakra" (disc) and "shankha" conch. An ornate silver arch behind the idol. The idol is dressed in bright yellow silk cloth (with a gold embroidered border). The idol itself has a pleated skirt-like dress but the same cloth is folded and spread from under the idol, and comes down all the way to the floor (the idol is seated high above the ground) as though the cloth is flowing down from the idol. A thin long string of white flowers (with orange stems) around the idol but going all the way down to the floor in one long U shape.
