“It is now proved that the club had for years systematically broken the rules of the Football Association by very unscrupulous means.”

This about Man City

Just the use of the word “sham” is so specific and to the point.

It’s such a heated phrase to get past the lawyers it cannot be said without total confidence.

Wow

Fun times #mcfc #epl
The worst is it was so clearly obvious that surely #epl heads must also roll?

So, Chelsea and Man City “cheat” by finding…shall we say…creative ways of buying players that the red cartel had hoped to buy.

It’s a good thing they did. Without Chelsea and City a red cartel team would have won the league almost every year. Without cheating the EPL is garbage.

The argument that City’s trophies were won by the players on the pitch is exactly the point. They wouldn’t have been there if it weren’t for sham contracts inflating club revenue to the tune of £900m.

This could be the most compelling watch of the season #MCFC V The #EPL City won’t go quietly & I expect them to throw a few haymakers & if they do go, take a few with them (individuals & clubs). The beginning of the end for the league as it is? #NUFC
