And now Gru takes a penalty. Why not. Let's keep the sin party going. #seakraken
@annaclimbsmtns.bsky.socialI'm with Lane. You just gotta shake your head at some of this. #SeaKraken🦑

@zesmerelda.bsky.socialAnd now Gru takes a penalty. Why not. Let's keep the sin party going. #seakraken
@sanjaromin.bsky.socialGonna be a lotta bad blood between these 2 teams this season.
#SeaKraken
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialRyker Evans accidentally hits Leon Draisaitl in the face, and the officials deliberately put him in the penalty box.
Oilers power play #3 of the game coming up.
Prooooobably shouldn't keep giving Edmonton all of these power plays if they want to win this
@sanjaromin.bsky.socialI don't like this, so many of our #SeaKraken players in the sin bin...
Yes we gotta play aggressive, but not sloppy, penalty worthy aggressive.
@annaclimbsmtns.bsky.socialToo many penalties for the #seakraken. Clean it up.
@cheapseatssports.bsky.socialBouchard is scary with that shot in the #SeaKraken end but I do like watching him turn the puck over to Kraken in his own end multiple times in a single shift.
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialColton Dach hits Vince Dunn from behind, no call (??). Vince and Dach jaw back and forth about it and eventually both are awarded an unsportsmanlike conduct.
4-on-4 for the next two minutes.
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialRyan Lindgren and Trent Fredric drop the gloves and after a very brief fight, both go to the penalty box for the next five minutes.
Lindgren concussed Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard over the summer during the World Championships and this seems like evening the ledger for that.
@sanjaromin.bsky.socialGood ol' hockey fight!
#SeaKraken
@cheapseatssports.bsky.socialAnother good PK for the #SeaKraken, now let's try to avoid the box and stop tempting fate.
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialSeattle goes back to the penalty box when Vince Dunn goes off for a...marginal slashing call.
Two more minutes of intense "McDavid and Draisaitl please don't hurt us" coming up
@berrsey.bsky.socialFREE VINCE
#SeaKraken
@nhlgoals.bsky.socialEdmonton goal!
Scored by Owen Michaels with 17:09 left in the 1st. Assisted by Alex Formenton.
EDM: 1 | SEA: 0

@cheapseatssports.bsky.socialWell the #SeaKraken did get a good PK and push by the kid line, but then Catton gets called for a hook and it's back to the PK
@sanjaromin.bsky.socialGood PK by our #SeaKraken
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialEdmonton scores first. Seattle is not able to clear the zone and Owen Michaels gives the Oilers an early lead.
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialRyan Winterton has been sent to the box for tripping and the terrifying Oilers play will attempt to continue to terrify #SeaKraken fans.
@sanjaromin.bsky.socialMan McDavid, on the Oilers, that guy's all over, makin stuff hapoen.
He'd a dangerous player, we gotta be in guard
@cheapseatssports.bsky.socialWinterton to the box now as the Kraken are having another rough start. Maybe this can be their turn around point with a good kill. #SeaKraken
