My thoughts on the slices:

The dough is dense, bland, and dry, the bbq sauce is bbq sauce, though the chicken portion is surprisingly generous for being as small as those slices are, and the chicken itself is pretty well seasoned, too. I think the biggest crime on those slices is the admittedly low quantity of cheese on those thingies, but at least they aren't being clankers about what the deli is selling.

My thoughts on the dish:

For what was basically $15 including tax, this was a decently sized serving. The broth was pretty flavourful, and the noodle and meat portion was definitely within reason on what to expect from how much I spent on lunch.

While I appreciate the amount of slice beef in the thing, I couldn't help but note that there was barely any tripe, and there was only like, one meatball that's been cut in half. There is also a similar amount of tendon. I guess I was kinda expecting a more balanced ratio of the different beef cuts, rather than just the sliced beef being the lion's share of the meat.

The white cookies taste very similar to one another, and to me, they taste like what a sugar cookie should taste like. It's almost as if cookies baked daily from a locally owned coffee shop are actual cookies, unlike the cookies that are mass-produced for sale at a supermarket's bakery aisle.

The third cookie at the back is made of coconut flakes, caramelized sugar, chocolate, and most likely JUST enough dough for the confectionary to maintain a cookie-like shape. I can't tell if it's trying to be a chocolate, cookie, or candy, and I can respect its indecisiveness.
