@theeldervampire.bsky.social#SongsOfSeptember Even though Wolfgang from Bastard's Honour never knew about his son until many years later, this song very much emulates his internal conflict.
And I'm probably gonna have a thread of these songs because I LOVE characters like Wolfgang, okay?? 😭

A song for Kay Linden from Sweet & Wild!
I think that Turtle Dove by Tia Blake fits her very well!

This is for one of the side characters in 9AWD. She's a lot like this song: it can sound intense with the guitar, but they're pretty chill. Is she the tripping girl, thinking back on their time as one, or calling someone else this? Who can say

For one of my favorite minor antagonists, the Fukuro Twins: To Heaven - Diao Ye Zong
Not giving up
Until you reach the heavens!
Blood boiling!
Flesh torn away!
Heart set ablaze!
Bones shattered!
Now – now! Now, now!
All for such a great cause!

@thebrambler13.bsky.socialSir Myrddin is Grandmaster for the Order of Branwen. He's also the former master of Sir Corbyn & a mentor throughout the stories.
This will be his song to Ata, when she's grown.
Also, yeah a Zelda animatic today!

@vampireantihero.comAloe - Lykaia Nyx
Brave As A Noun by AJJ
Lykaia cannot catch a break. She's got a lot on her shoulders. And, with a punk aesthetic and an acoustic guitar, she'd probably *write* this song. This song definitely fits her.

I am newly working on Cole’s playlist! As he is graduating to main character with his own spin-off prequel soon!
Heres the very first song that was added to his playlist!

This one vibes Cerel pretty well. Some of it himself and a lot of it his dynamic with Rushak. Not all the lyrics are applicable but most are.
Cerel’s voice sounds like the lead singer in Blues Traveler, too. Here’s Look Around.
@glwalkerauthor.bsky.socialThis is for Colel, book 2. Makes me think of her every time

Gotta do Mickey, who demanded his own book from his intro in No Escape lol And since he's a siren, how could I possibly resist?
Picture a k-pop idol with the power to literally control the masses. Lethal popularity. But he's a sweetie! lol

How about a little Prokofiev? (Get it? It's a werewolf romance and... yeah, you get it.)
@lillostkitten.comThe HKK is an ensemble piece, but for supporting roles I'll go with Peyton's first boyfriend, Samir Nammour a.k.a. 'The Kid'. Snuff's punk version of "I Think We're Alone Now": youtu.be/Yw_U6UfKVeM?... captures his energy. He was Peyton's spotter but got killed prior to war's end.

@andria-kennedy.comGoing with MujaRi for this one because he's a favorite side character.
And because I adore "Don't You (Forget About Me)" by Simple Minds: youtu.be/CdqoNKCCt7A?....
Definitely MujaRi's personal anthem throughout the series.
@thirdmonti.bsky.socialI think Maestus & Rhina as a couple would be listening to their planet’s equivalent of Jazz
(Rhina introduced Maes to it)
So, my representative piece of music is the first that came to mind thinking of them
“Take Five” by Dave Brubeck (and the Quartet)
@talesbyjin.bsky.socialforgiveness by Ayumi Hamasaki

This is for Balilan. I love her so much and wish she was more involved in the story and wasn't confined to a few chapters near the end. She's so strong and soft and large and lesbian and full of care and love~🦈
@zadafalcon.bsky.social17) Side character song
This one might be a bit on the nose, but whatever!
Killer's song (Deinonychus) is "Bad Reputation" by Joan Jett
(Visual aid of Killer included since I did commission that recently!)
@queensbookasylum.bsky.social#SongsOfSeptember Day 17
I wanted to have the spotlight on Gigi. She's Ben's younger sister, who is also his business partner, and a general pain in his ass. I picked Dear Daughter by Halestorm because she has a baby girl and some hard times. Plus Lzzy Hale vibes.
@chancemorgan.bsky.socialIn DEAD BEATS, even the characters’ vehicles are characters of sorts. Chuck has a vintage Ford pickup named Beatrice, and Seymour acquires a Trans Am, which Kent christens Jenny after the Mountain Goats song (Jenny is also sapphire blue, another TMG reference)
