Southern Pacific (SP) 7467 led an eastbound into Cable, CA, meeting a westbound ATSF intermodal train, in the Tehachapi Mountains on Sunday, February 23, 1992. SP 7467 was an EMD SD45 (SD45R) SP Class EF636R-2. Reportedly: it was built by in 1967 as SP 8913, SP Class EF636-2, builder number 32827. It was upgraded in 1983 becoming SP 7467. SP 7467 was retired in 1999. It was rebuilt to an SD40M-2, becoming CEFX 3120.
