"Soon" for Alicia's mother, Chloe. Her daughter time traveled to past & is gone for nearly a year, believing she's lost forever. Chloe's heart is broken; a grieving Demeter to Alicia's Persephone
@skarabraeauthor.bsky.socialWell, for a side character, I think this is an appropriate on for the governor of the shire:

This prompt has made me realize that I don't very often assign songs to minor characters 🤣
One of the few who *does* have a musical moment is Katrina, who gets a classic "princess in the tower" moment as Nico is sent on a perilous mission to rescue her...
@goldencoyote.bsky.social17. Character song: Side character
@windykazea.bsky.social#SongsOfSeptember: Day 17
This first pick skirts the line of main & side character. Can't name them, but going with Kill The Lights by Set It Off. Apparently Set It Off is just tailor-made for anyone mad at Yorick. 😂 Unlike Antag from Day 10, though, this person's got actual good reasons to be mad.
@jmweaverauthor.bsky.socialI'll do one for Cinder and one for Dannie. For Cinder, she's got a lot of bad mojo going on. Her vibe is very spiny. Unapproachable. Won't stop Hailey, naturally.

In A Nation of Distances Eliza might have been a sort of 'FMC after all' from a certain point,in Ronan and pyra's story a generation later she's a backgroud character looking at the changing times.
The world can always use some innocence missiona anyway...
@maidenofravens36.bsky.social#SongsOfSeptember Day 17 - Side Character
This cover of Fire Woman from The Cult by Crush 40
fitting song for my girl Scarlett :> (A demon lady with fire powers)
youtu.be/b9GSvtiQ_28?...
(Deleted my old post cuz I forgot to quote reply to this lol)
@princeumin.bsky.socialKat's one of my favorite characters in the hyvoltage universe. She's only ever mentioned in the actual comic (so basically background) but in-universe she's a famous musician. I associate a lot of songs with her but When I Grow Up is the most Kat
@figuringittfout.bsky.social#SongsOfSeptember Day 17 (Triple Feature!) For the main side characters!
Karvus Torin: youtu.be/eOsKdVpKDHY?...
Lady A: (Goldeneye by Tina Turner.) youtu.be/4hGQ97tCTOs?...
Rowen: (You know my name- Chris Cornell.) youtu.be/YnzgdBAKyJo?...
@aminaleeds.bsky.social#SongsOfSeptember 17. Side character song?
I always think of Tabatha's cousin, Lorraine, who is a nurse and takes care of the club, when I hear Papa Roach "Leave A Light On"
@scarlettchase.bsky.socialNo side character has a theme song or some such in the book's playlist. But in Anything You Want the FMC & her twin hear one of their favorite songs come on: Turn the Night Up by Enrique Iglesias #SongsofSeptember #RH #Romancebooks #WriterSky
@symon-pude.bsky.social@scarlettchase.bsky.socialI thought so hard I forgot to post yesterday 😂😂☠️
Since my WIP has 1 song in its playlist so far I'll refer to my last release, Anything You Want. Back in the Saddle by Aerosmith #SongsofSeptember #RH #Romancebooks #WriterSky
@zprospero.bsky.socialThe smartest most powerful member of the Gas Station crew.
Night Clerk to eat would-be rapists &
Ancient Ghanese sorceress: Alexia
"I won't smile, but I'll show you my teeth"
This song fucking kills! And so does she.
@mplbooks.bsky.socialI always thought of Emory's song (in THE SWITCHGRASS CROWN) as "In the House of Stone and Light" by Martin Page. I think of him whenever I hear it.
@serraleta.bsky.socialSharing another I've used before - August's song. I was playing FF7 Rebirth when I wrote my 1st draft, which def had an effect on some story elements/chars 😅 Checked this out from Remake again, & the lyrics really did fit well with August's story.
#SongsOfSeptember
@maruthauthor.bsky.socialTy’s song is “Bite” by Mad Tsai
Alex is probably something by 21 Pilots
