Happy 80th Birthday to the P/S Waverley. Launched on the 2nd of October 1946 at the A. & J. Inglis shipyard in Glasgow, she's the last sea-going passenger-carrying paddle steamer in the world. This was her heading down the Clyde close to Dumbuck in 2024.

It's 22nd May 1975, and the PS Waverley gets ready to set sail for Dunoon from Anderston Quay for her first trip as a preservation vessel. In the background you can see the old Daily Record building.
