If wildlife lives through #fishing line&lure injuries sometimes they're never the same.Plz clean up after others&yourself. BEAN lost almost all the webbing on his foot&had to wear a boot for a month&still has a forever limp. #MallardMonday #ducks #lightsoutformigratorybirds #birdsofbluesky #ABABirds

A landscape orientated image taken at Muncaster Castle in Cumbria. They have a fabulous hawk and owl centre that’s well worth a visit if you’re ever over that way. It was our second visit and we’ll definitely go again. This is a photo of a tawny owl that’s just taken off from a tree stump. The stump is on the bottom left vertical third the bird is central at the top horizontal third. Its wings are out but not yet stretched out. It’s flying towards the right and looking straight ahead. The backdrop is green foliage.
