Dripping in Mango - Vault City - 5.5% ABV. B++, Big Mango, Vanilla and maybe some Coconut. Just a hint of sourness #ale #beer #bier

3.5/5. When Vault City don’t go Sour, they go Viscous. Tip it and sit it. Certainly The Way Forward. Project, Caerphilly.

Enough of this walking nonsense, boozing in a brewery is the only way…

Jaisoor - Thornbridge / Vault City - 5.0% ABV. B++ and a touch. Quality English brewer goes Scottish Sour. Awesome #ale #beer #bier

3.6/5. Holy Hopped and a sharp fruity Sourness. All this and a side of Welsh Cake 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

White Stout - Nethergate - 5.5% ABV. B+ and a bit. Should a Stout be this fruity but it’s actually stuffed full of vanilla. Pleasant #ale #beer #bier

3.3/5. Off to Oktoberfest in Ffos Caerphilly later if the rain stops. Actually really horrible outside.

今宵は、キリン・一番搾り。

Tonight’s selection is Smashed Pumpkin from Shipyard Brewing Co.

B+

Imperial pumpkin spice ale. 9% ABV

The can tells me to “Smash the idea of what you thought a pumpkin beer should be.”

Very sweet. But not cloyingly so. The can says caramel and cinnamon. I agree.
