One of the things I love most about quilting is creating improv bags. This one is about 2 inches square and will protect this ceramic essential oil diffuser when I travel to a yoga retreat soon.
The red cloth is a leftover quilted bit from my mom, ca. 1995.

This bumbag started with so much hope and excitement… then bias binding entered the conversation…
I refuse to unpick it for the fifth time.
I’m tired and so done. The bias binding has defeated me.
Sometimes perseverance is overrated.

Right! All done with the Helen's Closet Cameron. I split the box pleat into two knife pleats of the same size to add fullness, blended from chest to wider hip and adjusted hem accordingly, and did a narrow shoulder adjustment/added a little to the sleeve cap. #sewing #garmentSewing

today's progress: i mostly just did embroidery on the shirt so there's no progress on the jacket. pattern for the pants are done tho so maybe i'll prep the pieces before bed.
