Berlin Express is one of my favorite movies. I will say that #Obsession doesn't quite make the Rubble Movie category because it was not filmed in Axis Europe. The rubble isn't a broad condition in this movie. It's specifically a murder context.

I was such a freaking stage mother with Czerny. I got Home2Suites to put him in an online ad. I got our local newspaper to make him “Dog of the Week.” I got our vet to make him “dog of the month” – with a *display.*

I’ve always maintained miniature train enthusiasts had issues.
My alcoholic grandfather turned the whole of his basement into a wonderland of miniature trains.
He did nothing much of anything else once he retired but drink & work on his trains.

Dmytryk maintains tight control over the scenes, mostly two-handers. But he’s also aware of the need to break the tension with the occasional visual gag – like this model misdirect.
