Got a bonkers idea about 2 weeks ago to write a speculative romance about women's sexual wellness as healthcare. Not merely "legalized brothels" but something that affects society/infrastructure. Will have a bi4bi FM relationship. The M is a baby bi.

For October, I'm working on my usual projects (Time's Sacrifice Book #2, Luminhaven Chronicles #1 and Fox Eyes). Mostly getting everything to a good place so I can lock in in November. In November, I'm going to be drafting Luminhaven solely, because I CANNOT get out of the brain rot. #FirstDraftFall

I'm going to be working on fiction WIP2 about the continuing adventures of Liam Brookside, the wandering wandslinger. Book 1 is *pretty much* done, so it just feels natural to continue the momentum and see if I can get through book 2 before the end of the year.

For #FirstDraftFall, I'll be working on a 90s retro tech gothic romance. I have other story ideas, but I haven't loved an idea like this one in a long time. Part of it is channeling my feelings about technology, finance, and society. Part of it is that I adore my MC Mega.

#FirstDraftFall Fingers crossed I have enough time to do it, I'm hoping to take on Beehemia, which is a Sherlock Holmes retelling featuring bee people and elf politics. It's been on my radar for a year, and I've really been excited to tackle it. Now sounds like a good time.

I'm going to be working on a YA/NA urban fantasy called "familiarize yourself" about a group of 3 teens turned into animal familiars, now dealing with their witch dying and the uncertainty of the future coming along with that. This came up in a riffing session about "cozy horror"

My #FirstDraftFall project is a queer historical horror about a Black trans man who gets an evil god shoved in his body after a botched cult ritual. They team up and turn racists/queerphobes into pillars of salt, fall in a twisted love, and raze the world and recreate it in their own image. (cont)
