Prince Thomas enjoys sketching a new live model under the supervision of his drawing master.

Thomas allowed his gaze to wander down Simon’s body as he straightened, lingering on his defined chest, and the way the cloth covered just enough below the waist to be acceptable. The boy certainly was handsome, he thought. A little bit older than Thomas, but that was hardly a bad thing.

On the contrary, Thomas could appreciate the maturity, not to mention the lithe muscle that corded through Simon’s body, and the tanned skin that told him he spent a great deal of time in the sun. He was unlike anyone Thomas was used to, and for that, he was glad.

“A suitable subject,” he said finally, his approval clear, and Master Ambrose gave a little half bow.
