On our walk today we could hear some serious corvid activity. Usually this means there's something in the trees they don't like; bears, raccoons, cougars or, in this case a barred owl. Hope it got out of there in one piece.

Someone said they stopped some orca yesterday morning on our current 24/7 livestream in Ucluelet. I missed it but I've seen them there before this time of year. The first is pretty clear, in the second they're in the shadow of the island.
