About to see Transformers: The Movie the 40th anniversary screening. I never saw it in the theater during its first run. Watched in on video tape eons ago.
I have the entire theater to myself. :)
Excited!

@arkus0.bsky.socialMe and my brother went to see #TransformersTheMovie in cinema for the #40thAnniversary. It was an important part of our childhood and it was a treat to watch it on the big screen. The Optimus short after it was amazing, great sendoff for #PeterCullen RIP.
@posterpirate.bsky.socialTransformers: The Movie at Bottleneck Gallery: Mike McGee's full-cast one-sheet + Dave Kennedy's Till All Are One Optimus Prime piece. Available at the top of the hour.

@mindtheicypatch.bsky.socialI get that knowing VO names is kinda niche, but i was not prepared for the number of audible gasps when the dates popped up on the Peter Cullen bumper, last night. 😳 #TransformersTheMovie #TheApologyTour
@poilapan.bsky.socialWatching #TransformersTheMovie in IMAX theatre this time in 3, 2, 1...
@shogomiyakita.comSeeing the movie for the umpteenth time, but on the big screen hit way harder than it had any business to. 😭

@oldtrenchy.bsky.socialWhat? (IYKYK) 😜
Despite some other priorities, I got to see the original 1986 #Transformers: The Movie at the cinema last night for the 40th anniversary "Apology Tour" and I was glad I was able to make it (albeit a late session).
