Going to hurt themselves, lessons tapered off and now they also just kind of hang out with their friends.

Mary is a member of the Choir, and along with singing in services she keeps the church grounds and attends the needs of the congregation.

Since she’s the only one with anything

Girlfriend all day.

Arlo is going to eventually join the City Guard, but he’s on a roll in the Tournament circuit, so he’s riding that for now.

Henet is technically employed as Roderika and Arlo’s magic tutor, but once both got the foundations of how their magic works and weren’t

Roderika doesn’t have or want a job or vocation, she’s content to live out her fathers term as Sovereign and then spend the rest of her life traveling.

Tala is technically employed by the Palace as Roderika’s Handmaiden, but this is less of a job and more of excuse to hang out with her

The Good Thyme gang run and operate the inn. Shallot is the innkeeper and Parsnips is the chef, but the kids tend to do odd jobs or whatever needs to be done. Some specialize in particular chores, of course, but their work sometimes extends to tasks outside the inn, as well.

Roman, the LI of my vampire novella, is kind of like a crime boss, with wealth flowing to him through his thralls and their businesses. I wouldn't call him passionate, though. It's survival.

Lia works for Roman, technically. She has an allowance and gets to sleep with him, too. #Septversary

Gielle is the crown princess of Maris, so her schedule is full of Council meetings and attending her father's audiences to learn how to handle petitioners.

What she loves, though, is heading the negotiations between Maris and the Senate.

6) Passionate about work

Okay so there's a lot of cultural divide among Zadans in terms of "jobs" in the human sense. As far as the main characters go, they don't have jobs.

In the story, they take on the "job" of pilot, but they don't get paid for it. They're protecting their home.

#Septversary 6. Ashrah is a warrior—sometimes a general, but most times a wanderer. She loves it. For most of her life, she couldn't even imagine a life beyond the battlefield.

Nitara is an airfarer, the proud captain of an aerial ship. She loves it; the Vermilion Star 🧵

Momoka is a shaman working at a shrine built to seal away Oomukade, Lord of Defilement. It's a job they were called to from a young age and threw themself into training for as soon as they could, and they're very proud of what they've achieved and the position they have!

#Septversary In TFTNG -- Acanthus is "retired" when we meet them, and they're kind of hating it. Cypress is unemployed and absolutely hates it. Azalea is running The Night Garden's Eastern branch and her bed and breakfast. She loves it. Austin is an NYPD detective and an Alpha to an auxillary pack-

Lacei owns and operates a bakery. She loves baking and cooking.

Finn is a paranormal investigator (he'd never call himself a hunter). He enjoys helping others and solving cases, and likes to get into the tussle. He hates that he can't save everyone.

Carmine is the only one with a job (art commissions) and they really enjoy doing them! Carmine spends a lot of sleepless nights focused on stopping the time loops so doing these makes them handle "art block caused by fatigue" better

Caelan is a courtesan, serving the illicit pleasures of the kingdom and yes, he's very good at it... But he's far more passionate about BOOKS. Right now balances the inner nerd with the forbidden role. How long will that last? 😁 #Septversary

Kallista is a ship's captain, which is what she always wanted to be, and she loves it. She just hates that she's the Pirate Queen 😅 she's a reluctant bad girl

Geni loves being a doctor. She's actually less into being a nun, which might confuse some given how she has church magic 🤔

Weslea is a sex worker. This involves a certain obligate amount of passion, given the nature of the work - and professionalism.

It isn't the life that he wanted, but homeless teenagers don't get near as much say in such things. 🧵

#Septversary D6: My MC cast are high schoolers so outside of Logan working a mall food court job, the only employed people are the adults in their lives. Of the adult cast, Officer Petty is a standard beat cop and Detective Deer works homicide and missing persons cases.

#Septversary Day 6: Passionate about work

Izzy - teacher & drummer. Surprisingly, loves it. Will be investing in Tylenol
Julie - musician, producer, songwriter, loves it.
Jacqueline - folk singer in 1969. She has 3 albums already and a 4th on the way. Can't imagine doing anything else ⬇️

Before Sigrun got unwillingly roped into this whole "save the world from an undead abomination" business, she was a blacksmith. And she loved it. If she wasn't eating or sleeping, you'd find her at her forge.

Amon and company are touring rockstars.
He loves music and performing so much that he made a devils deal about it. Fame and immortality for the low low cost of his dreamwalker self. Behind the mask is the only place he can truly cry properly, he melts all his trauma down his eyes
