The vegetation in Tasmania is full of texture, which makes bushwalking joyously varied; amongst these are some Tasmanian endemics. Plants pictured include two species of hakea, pimelea, celerytop pine, pepperberry, pineapple grass, speedwell bush, and one of the coral-ferns.

A lone eyebright (Euphrasia collina) was in full flower already.

A lichen of the genus Hypogymnia with large fruiting bodies colored gold contrasting with the silver of the main body of the lichen.

A black currawong (Strepera fuliginosa), dismayed that I was not offering anything for lunch.

I made a field / animal pen. Fencing was based on the scenery instructions in the back of the Pillage rule book. Learnt a LOT, but overall, I'm pretty happy with it.

Might add turfs of veg, but might do that as the next project.
