I didn’t find out about #scbwiartober2026 until today — the day that I wrapped up putting together a kidlit illustration portfolio.

I’ve been working tirelessly on these illustrations, but I may try to catch up on some prompts over the next few days!

First week of October 2026 🥳 To expand the supporting characters in my comic universe I combined #scbwiArtober2026 with #fairytalehollow2026 and a pinch of #drawtober2026
Using Acrylic marker on scrapbook paper is so fun!

#SCBWIArtober2026. Today’s prompt: “crisp.”

The crisp smell of a freshly fallen ginkgo leaf.

8. Crisp. Dreaming of the cool, crisp weather of autumn. October drawing challenge time again, or as I've been calling it, Kentober. Using the #scbwiartober2026 prompts this year. Let's see if I make it all the way through! #kentober2026 #inktober2026 #kidlitart #crisp

Day 8 Crisp. Nothing like the snap of a crisp apple for a little snack before magic lessons.
