@fairvote.bsky.socialWhat do elected officials, business leaders, and artists across the political spectrum have in common?
They know it’s time to improve our elections with ranked choice voting. #RankedChoiceVoting
@sightline.org#RankedChoiceVoting would fix the spoiler problem.
@candidlytara.bsky.socialRob Sand was asked about ranked choice voting at a recent town hall. His solution? Scrap the separate party primaries, put everyone on one ballot, send the top four forward, and use approval voting. What do you think? 👀 #RobSand #IowaPolitics #IowaNews #ApprovalVoting #RankedChoiceVoting
@mugsysrapsheet.bsky.socialAn idea to consider once #CitizensUnited is repealed: Nationwide #RankedChoiceVoting. No other change would do more to fix our politics.
No more spoilers.
No more 2party system.
No more costly primaries/runoffs.
Greatly mitigates the influence of big money in politics.
Something to think about. 🤔
@allentien.bsky.social#Democracy + #RankedChoiceVoting an advanced form of #Collaboration, not just another form of #War

@spacekaiju0078.bsky.socialAnywhere, begin anywhere. Democrats have shown to not be able to legislate their way out of a wet paper bag though. No faith in their governance either.

They found 3 main strengths:
- Voters can communicate more information
- Ensures majority winners
- Saves on costs. www.utahfoundation.org/reports/a-ta...

@mugsysrapsheet.bsky.socialThe simplest way to "dramatically improve" (but not "fix") the system is to institute #RankedChoiceVoting at ALL levels of government (including inside Congress.)
No more Spoilers. No more Two Party System. Greatly mitigates the influence of Big Money in politics.

@betterballotsc.bsky.socialSome question whether #InstantRunoffVoting qualifies as one person, one vote. The courts have said yes, but check out this great explanation of the reasoning why it embodies how Americans should vote: www.youtube.com/shorts/aRxXg...
