Explain your WIP's major conflict or theme in one (1) syllable.
@norashear.bsky.socialMy spicy horromance No Dream Like Forever is out now! It's got tragic backstory, yearning, amazing food, vampires who are also shifters, MCs who save each other, & the best queer bestie ever.
@norashear.bsky.socialMy series is a little like the show A Discovery of Witches. Partial masquerade & an ancient secret waiting to be uncovered.

@norashear.bsky.socialUnfortunately, when things are really bad, I can't write. But if I need to write someone whose presence on the page makes me happy, I write Dash, side char of No Dream Like Forever & future MC of No Color Like Blood.

No complex comps needed just one comparison for now. Could be as small as a hint of the original work or vibes. You pick. Compare your work to a beloved show or movie?

@norashear.bsky.socialSo many 💜 for this question. In No Sky Like Midnight, Paige has an anxiety disorder & has several panic attacks during the book. In No Dream, Viyana has CPTSD & Dash has allergies, & in the 3rd book Dash will reveal they also have spondylolisthesis.
@norashear.bsky.socialNo Sky Like Midnight is hot honey sweet potato soup. Unusual, spicy sweet, tastes like an indulgence but is surprisingly nourishing.
(Love this question.)

Who do you write when you feel yucky? Which of the guys in your head do you turn to when you feel the world on your shoulders?
#WritingPrompt #PromptGame #QRP
@norashear.bsky.socialIn No Dream Like Forever, Viyana drinks a really rare tea & Cory walks aimlessly. In No Sky Like Midnight, Leo has music, astronomy, & slipping into his snake self.
& Paige, at the start, believes comfort doesn't exist.

Illness is something we as a society often shy away from… unfortunately for some people it’s an every day occurrence. Tell us about the illnesses in your work!

Host is likely curled up in bed with the tattoo flu starting. Describe your WIP as a delicious restorative soup to help him recover.

Snuggle down into a bundle of blankies? Get squished below their love interest(s)? How does your MC seek comfort.
