Good Afternoon Bluesky Folks!

Continuing from my morning post, I’ve captured a male European stonechat I spotted while walking in Cardiff, Wales. The photo was taken with my Canon EOS R50!

This photo shows a small songbird—a Stonechat (or European Stonechat)—perched on a weathered, thorny branch.
Key Features:
Bird Description: The bird has a distinct dark blackish head and face with a short, thin black beak. A prominent white patch runs along the side of its neck, forming a partial collar. Its breast is a rich warm orange-chestnut color, fading into a lighter buff/off-white tone on the lower belly.
Position & Posture: It is perched upright, turned slightly to the right while looking off into the distance. Its slender dark legs grip the dry twig securely.
Perch: The branch is light grey and dry with small thorns along its length.
Background: The background is completely softly blurred in uniform beige, brown, and muted green earth tones, keeping the full focus on the bird.

For #stunday. Sunset along Italy's Amalfi Coast (2023). #Italy #nature #photography #mediterranean #Amalfi #landscape #seascape #EastCoastKin #ECK #WCK #PhotographersOfBlueSky

This photo captures a serene, golden sunset along the dramatic silhouette of the Amalfi Coast. A brilliant, warm gradient of yellow and deep gold fills the background, with soft, hazy clouds catching the fading light. Dark, steep mountain ridges silhouette against the sun, stepping down into the water in layered shapes.
