@alastair.mastodon.me.uk.ap.brid.gyAn Update on Omarchy, and the Controversy Around Its Creator
A few people on Mastodon pointed me at something about Omarchy I'd completely missed: real controversy around its creator, DHH, and his views.

@globalvisibility.bsky.social@alastair.mastodon.me.uk.ap.brid.gyTrying Omarchy Linux on an Old Laptop
I had an old laptop sitting around doing nothing, so instead of letting it gather dust I decided to put [Omarchy](https://omarchy.org/) on it and see how it held up.

@cedric.fmClavier roi, milliardaires, idées de génie et sécurité : c’est quoi Omarchy, le système Linux qui divise la tech ? 😜 J'ai pu tester ça et c'est... tranchant !

@powerbitips.bsky.social563 - Omarchy plus Claude Code means reshaping your entire OS on command. The first time felt like finding an eldritch wand from a time-traveling wizard. Turns out you can turn things into gold.
@nitai.meGood use of coding time. I've developed a Buffer posting plugin for #Omarchy. Will submit to the marketplace, but if you want it already you can grab it from github.com/thenitai/oma...
@nitai.meThe Bluesky Post plugin for #Omarchy has now a menu bar icon too :)
@nitai.meHere we go: the #omarchy Bluesky posting plugin is now available. I've submitted it to the marketplace, but if you want to give it a go, you can install it from github.com/thenitai/bsky
@nitai.meWow, just look at this hate and unwilling to see the good. Despite NO ONE is forcing you to use #omarchy. But I rest my case. Haters just want to hate and vote for Trump
@johnnyraccoon.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gyfuck #omarchy aber jochenlinux ist leider auch nicht mehr tragbar weil dwm von den hitlerfreaks von suckless entwickelt wurde :(((
@npub1mwce4c8qa2zn9zw9f372syrc9dsnqmyy3jkcmpqkzaze0slj94dqu6nmwy.momostr.pink.ap.brid.gy@nitai.meHere we go the #omarchy bluesky posting plugin is now available. I've submitted it to the marketplace, but if you want to give it a go you can install it from https://github.com/thenitai/bsky
@nitai.meHere we go. The plugin to post to your bluesky account with a global shortcut within #omarchy is almost ready.
@nitai.meSeeing all this hate towards #omarchy is ridicolous. Finally someone wants to push Linux further and also has the means for it (financily and network) and people have nothing better to do than complain. https://omarchy.org
@nitai.meHere another post from the #omarchy bluesky post plugin. This time with a screenshot.
@nitai.meThis is the first post from my new Bluesky post plugin for #omarchy. Say hi if you see me :)
