Funny thing - as @fieseler.bsky.social knows, that wasn't my favorite piece by her! But she did so much other good work on the politics of #offshorewind that I'm quite glad that she is getting the recognition she and her work deserve.

There is still more work to be done! We need to fight to ensure that we can start building the additional #offshorewind projects that are in the queue in 2029, when Trump leaves office (one way or another).

And we need to be sure that Rhode Island Energy ratepayers get the full economic benefit./11

JUST IN: Vineyard Wind and GE Vernova announce they've reached a settlement in their contract dispute about the Vineyard Wind project.

The disagreement stems from a 2024 incident when one of the GE-made blades broke on a non-operational turbine.
