Racheal Kundananji is bringing the sauce to Chi-Town 🔥

#NWSL

#NWSL NEWS: Portland Thorns forward Sophia Wilson has been suspended an additional game for her red card for a hair pull. She will miss Portland's games on Oct. 18 v Bay FC and Oct. 23 v NC. That leaves Decision Day on Nov. 1 v Houston. Thorns are currently in 7th, 3 pts. clear of Seattle in 9th.

Been trying to keep up on the #NWSL transfer news.

Ella Hase from Racing Louisville to North Carolina Courage

Olivia Wingate from North Carolina Courage to Gotham FC

And Gift Monday from Washington Spirit to Boston Legacy.

I forgot today was the trade deadline and was not prepared for this much #nwsl chaos

Also, given the changes to allocation money and a potential cap crunch for Gotham going into 2027, don’t be surprised if we see them make more moves like this where they bet on cheaper players with higher upside/potential. #GothamFC #NWSL

Figured Kundananji would be on the move, pretty surprised it happened before the offseason and that it was Chicago who pulled the trigger. #NWSL

BREAKING: Bay FC transferred forward Racheal Kundananji to the Chicago Stars before the 3 pm ET #NWSL roster freeze. $700,000 transfer fee -- just slightly less than Bay paid in February 2024, which was then a world record.

First big move for Chicago since Vlatko Andonovski's arrival.

You know what? If she has a shot at more minutes, go for it. Her riding the bench when we needed depth up front was a tragedy and a disservice to someone who deserves more.

Go get em, Liv!

DEADLINE DEAL: Gotham FC acquires Wingate from NC Courage

Wingate missed all of 2025 after undergoing LCL surgery in June and has only played 5 minutes so far this season. I would not expect her to play a huge role on this team going forward and is most likely cover on the wings given the recent injuries to Jordynn Dudley and Jaedyn Shaw. #GothamFC #NWSL

#GothamFC has acquired forward Olivia Wingate from the North Carolina Courage via a free transfer. She will wear number 29. #NWSL

#NWSL trade: Washington Spirit send forward Gift Monday to Boston Legacy FC for $500,000 in transfer funds and a 20% future sell-on fee.

Transfer funds and not allocation money is notable, since Boston's expansion allocation money runs through 2027.

I haven't followed her too closely, left back, yes?

If so, we could use some depth there. #nwsl #woso

Cece Delzer signed an extension with the Utah Royals through the 2028 #NWSL season!

Also today, the KC Current signed Avery Clark to a short-term contract through the end of the year.

Only the best clubs have unserious shirts.
Actually being very serious. It's really obvious what teams invest in their club's fanbase and success of their supporters when they're dedicated with making merchandise that's fun and shows their pride in being the club they are.
I love it.
