I am /beyond/ wiped out but wanted to post the last of this batch:: the full set of full text Counterspells!

Those of you who are familiar know I work in batches so I won't be doing the full month of Octoken, but I'll post more spooky paintings to fill in.

Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin as Viego from League of Legends (Rakdos Colored). Surely one of the most detailed alters I painted in recent times :p But I can be very happy about the result :) I hope you like it! #mtg #mtgalter

I got some cheap acrylic markers and decided that "more dots!" was advice to follow. Perhaps this was the wrong game, and it definitively shows my age. #mtgalter #mtg

#tokentober day 2: human

i went back and forth on this one and decided to do something i don’t usually do, which is draw *myself* as the human that i am!

still trying to figure out what i look like not as a rabbit for once, but i really like how this one turned out!

The English reads strangely in this one.

001 - Izzet charm

My first try.

And another one! This one was hard to do, so much fiddly detail that I am not used to. But I had to use this Koschei illustration for something, it's too good. #mtgalter #cardalter #magic #koschei #gonti

An altar for mother Norn!

Another alter proxy, this time I sacrificed a foil swamp (…for one mana of any color)

I don't super care for anime goblins, so this alter is of Da Red Gobbo! I am very happy with this one, best alter I've done to date. #mtgalter #cardalter #mtg #goblin #magiccards

Just need to clean up the edges for the rats, started on this ponder. Not feeling the Petyr Baelish Dark Confidant at so putting that on the back burner for now.

final land card gets Maya at the pool

i think i finally got a hang of this

reference was another doujinshi drawing, this one from the 90's

i just used the ref for Maya's body/pose, but everything else was my idea, incl. LAB GIRLS

I thought Dialga, the Temporal Pokemon with Teferi, Temporal Archmage was a nice match! I learned painting white is not the easiest, but I still vote yellow is the hardest.

This was sitting in my backlog and got picked up with the tide on my latest commission. Getting towards the end of this batch (12 of 15) and am running low on things to share, should I do a deck tour or a binder tour next?
