But yeah, I'm glad #MagicKnightRayearth is being remade, and it looks great, and I wish anime would be like this again, please and thank you.

Oh, but this scene…THIS scene I'm glad they did justice, because I think it's one of the ones the oldheads remember from the original anime, and it looks great here remade. #MagicKnightRayearth

The first episode was merely the tutorial level where they all get their level 1 powers. The real action hasn't started yet. #MagicKnightRayearth

"A mythical magical boss? This is just like one of my PC Engine games!"

Beat the game, save the world, and *then* you can go home. #MagicKnightRayearth

I know this has an RPG based off of it that came out…30 years ago, but I know kinda realize how Altered Beast-ish this series is? Without the beasts?

I mean, TMS is doing this iteration, maybe Sega can get to work on a new #MagicKnightRayearth game.

This generation has "truck-kun"; back then, all it took was 3 girls to look at each other to be isekai'd. #MagicKnightRayearth

So, first off, it's kinda…weird to see an anime look like this in 2026 with these '90s-ass shoujo eyes and comedic chibi forms, yet…still it looks right to me, because this is how anime used to be and how it could still be IMO. THIS is oldhead fanservice. #MagicKnightRayearth

And the good news is that I watched the first episode of the #MagicKnightRayearth remake, and it was…

ABSOLUTELY FREAKING INCREDIBLE WOOOOOOOHOO

Yoooooo!!!! It’s back!! I can’t believe I’m alive to see Magic Knight Rayearth come back and more stunning than ever! This was my first mahou shoujo even before I watched Sailor Moon! #magicknightrayearth #anime #fyp #viral #mahoushoujo

Just finished watching the new Magic Knight Rayearth anime and it’s sooo good!

Did this piece of art back in October of 2024 when they announced the remake.

I just watched the first episode of the #MagicKnightRayearth remake, and personally, I don't feel it does justice to the original, which I consider unsurpassed, though there were certainly parts that reminded me of the SEGA Saturn game adaptation.

Magic Knight Rayearth (2026) -

They don't make premieres like this anymore!
(Maybe for good reason.)

It was a very charming start, but the amount of exposition dump felt insane & was the 2nd biggest reminder that this is a remake, outside of the wild character designs.
