I dunno...maybe I'm just out of touch? I don't mean this with any sarcasm or snark, but none of these AI features in #MacOS27 #GoldenGate sound useful or even slightly compelling for me personally. At all. The thing is, I wish they did. But...nope.

#Apple #MacOS27 breaks the #Python uuid.getnode() function (and other tools as well) because all MAC-Addresses are reported as being 02:00:00:00:00:00. According to Apple this is a privacy feature.

I was days away from moving all my passwords from 1Password to Apple Passwords, but the #macOS27 UI is so user-hostile that I think I need to pull the brakes and look into what it would take to move to Linux.

#macOS27 is the first Apple OS that makes me feel like I'm using Windows 11. I'm needing to try to outsmart an OS that's pushing features and products on me that I don't want. It's such a gross feeling.

#macOS27 is quite bad! AI summaries are everywhere, settings to turn them off are hidden and obfuscated, and in many cases don't actually turn them off. Basic things like dropping files into folders in the finder are less robust than before.

So, Settings search just... doesn't work at all in #macOS27 ? This happens on both my macbook and mac mini.

Anyone else having significant issues with Apple Keynote w Mac OS 27? Keynote has either crashed or had sync issues 5 or 6 times in the past 2 hours - not great. #MacOS27 #GoldenGateKeynoteCrashing #INeedToGetMySlidesDone
