While taking notes, I was somehow praised. I wonder if they had past disappointment with someone who didn't take notes, or if a disliked person just happened to be that type. As game writers, we always imagine alternate routes while we speak.

At meetings, we always do a reflection. Saying "they aren't doing well" behind their back just becomes bad-mouthing. But if that person can hear it, it becomes a talk about how to get better. It takes both sides to open up real learning.

I get it when people say, “I can’t handle a 'full-course dinner' game anymore—cramming in intense battles, maps, crafting, and town-building!” We all have other hobbies. Huge, blockbuster titles aren't the only ones in demand now.
