The build for the Gundam Assemble Zaku Painting Showcase so far. Changed the pose a little bit and need to wait until it is dry for some putty work.

Very excited to have been accepted into the Gundam Assemble Zaku painting showcase. Bandai sent out a Zaku mini and I'll be posting my painting process as I work on my submission.

Black is now lightened too
Also tidied up the Pauldron so the gold is a tad more circular and central

Rook was silly a while ago and grabbed air whites instead of layers, but it worked out well here for the uneven terrain

Metal took less time than expected, but while we wait on that to settle I can work on the road markings for the base

That's the ironbreaker drybrush done, just a touch of Runefang Steel on the more exposed parts and we might get onto the Reds today
#GundamAssemble #GundamAssembleShowcase #GundamAssemblePainting #GundamAssembleHobby.

Got distracted by Stream but here's what it looks like after the night of drying, we'll build up the metal today and that should leave us ready for the Reds and Blacks tomorrow

Char and his Zaku II bros. They’re dropping sick rhymes while doing mecha crimes.

These are from Gundam Assemble, releasing soon (woot!).

While we wait for the base to settle, we can get Armouring, not sure if going to do Rook themed armour (Metal with Red trim) with just the Pauldron being flag or Rook's Flag (Red with Black trim) yet, we'll see

Night shifts over, back to progress
Mud and Stone, make him look like he's patrolling beside a road, should be pretty cool I hope

Update 2: Optimally Primed
Decided on Grey Seer by citadel since contrasts are easy acquired, gonna go for a red and black Rook scheme so we'll give it a fair go
