The new Ghost in the Shell anime was so good. What an incredible, faithful recreation of the manga. Loved it all.

Now……are we gonna get Man-Machine Interface??? Or maybe something different?

Either way I hope this isn’t the end, I would like some more please.

Makoto faking her death was expected but her merging with the Puppet Master AI was NOT. I loved their conversation so much, such a unique outlook on life here! And gorgeous visuals ofc!

Always seems like for one reason another Motoko is destined to leave Section 9 huh. Althrough merging with a digital AI god is certain most out there of them, but its certainly inline with themes of the show. Gonna miss this but was an fantastic return to world of gits #gits

Final verdict on #GITS
It's different than Stand Alone Complex, obviously.
I advise against going into it expecting anything similar to SAC or the movies.
That said, it is neither better nor worse.
Rather, it's better in some areas, worse in others.
Solid 8/10 from me!

Conversely, people criticised SAC for being a "talking anime" back in the day.
In the final episodes, the new #GITS anime also got some extended "talking" sequences, albeit accompanied by beautiful abstract animation.
Overall, the animation is a great advantage of the new entry imho.
