Yesterday we visited the rock museum again, this time with the kids. Including the gift shop at the museum’s exit.

We went home with two necklaces, two rock crystals, an amethyst, and the tooth of a mosasaurus.

I used a USB microscope on my old PC to take some close-up photos of my suspected Montana sapphires I sifted from gravel.

The images are a bit blurry but one can see a subtle blue, a greenish variety and my best example which features a faceted green point on one end.
