I think I got this. Emmetts Garden a National Trust property in a nearby town in Kent that my lovely wife and I visited so often we thought it our own. I continue to visit, now she is no longer here. Tulip time our favourite.

A Robin sings in a neighbour's tree each morning but I think he spotted me photographing him and gave me the stare. No more songs until you top up that feeder, lazy boy.

Good Afternoon Bluesky Folks!

This morning, on my way home from a short walk, I saw a European Robin playing hide and seek with me. I captured it on my Canon EOS R50 before it flew away.

Did you know it is #WorldSmileDay😁? You do now and I shall mark it by posting this favourite picture of the smiliest person I ever knew … my lovely late wife. Here she is on a carousel in the USA with our first son in 1978. Always happy. Always smiling.

My wife sits on a traditional fairground carousel horse with our then 11-month-old son on her lap. She looks downwards with a wide smile on her face. She was not a fan of fairground rides but wanted to introduce our boy to them. It worked he spent a lifetime riding ever more exciting and dangerous ones that she would never dream of boarding herself.
