A single pair of unspayed and unneutered cats and their offspring can theoretically produce up to 420,000 kittens over the span of 7 years due to exponential breeding.

Communities that enact TNR programs for colonies can help to stop this.

Satsuma is in the box and Shady is lying on the paper. Dawn, probably distracted by another cat on the high plant ledge. High ledges were not Dawn's sort of thing - she was more of a ground-level cat with walls and trees included only if necessary, having fallen off a wall as a youngster and hurt her back 🐾

Sniffly Cat on the pavement outside the gate. We didn't know where she came from or where she went after she had eaten; she wasn't friendly, but she had a lovely disposition and, so long as her personal space was observed, she was very easy to care for 🐾

Blackfur liked to sleep with his feet touching the wall - sometimes elevated, but always touching the stone. He also liked to sleep on his back, sometimes quite comically. Maybe it was a tuxedo thing... 🐾
