#Ubuntu #Debian #Fedora

@musicman.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gySep 29, 2026, 4:51 PM

Any #fedora or #sssd devs that could confirm that this issue is submitted properly? https://github.com/SSSD/sssd/issues/9317

No response for a week. #opensource

So, #Gnome on #Fedora is working okay. I miss #Debian--as a community project but also, honestly, for all the trans lesbian jokes.

I'm grossed out by "Fedora Flatpaks." You didn't create those. Step off.

Today in my #fedora pyramid:

* Fedora Daily meeting - 2026-09-28 noon
* Looked into a distrepo failure on a builder. Missing nfs mount.
* Created swift-sig packaging group

I've now updated the #Budgie Desktop stack to 10.10.3 in #Fedora 46 (rawhide). Will sanity check it on the nightly ISO and assuming all looks good, I'll merge it into Fedora 45 tomorrow and check if I need to file any exceptions to get it landed for the release.

Screenshot of Fedora Updates System (bodhi) with the various packages of budgie desktop (and externals like pocillo-gtk-theme) as "stable" in Fedora 46 rawhide.

The Other Side of the Glass
She leans close enough to meet her reflection, but the rain keeps them apart.

A woman in a deep plum velvet dress stands in profile beside a dark, rain-speckled window. She wears a broad-brimmed black fedora with a small cluster of pale pink flowers tucked into the band. Damp strands of dark hair fall across her face, and the rest is gathered loosely at the back of her head. One hand rests against the window frame as she lowers her gaze toward the glass. Her dim reflection fills the left side of the image, its hat and face softened by moisture and shadow. The background beyond her is blurred into pale walls and muted green, keeping attention on the textured velvet, wet glass, and quiet space between her and her reflection. Keywords: rain, window reflection, black fedora, pink flowers, velvet dress, plum fabric, woman in profile, wet glass, muted green, dark hair AI-generated; use is permitted for non-commercial creative projects. MidJourney, FLUX.1-schnell model via Perchance, Artspace.ai, REVE, Echoform™.

I was in a furniture store. There were desks and chairs to buy. To imagine yourself working with a laptop, they had those fake laptops, that were just plastic frames with a screen and keyboard printed on paper inside.

* Looked at why no compose report for rawhide, it was a connection problem to forge.
* Started syncing database server data to rhel10 versions.
* Investigated our opengraph problems. Fixed bodhi at least, and […]
