Die Big-Tech-Plattformen haben der digitalen Öffentlichkeit völlig verrückte Spielregeln aufgezwungen, denen man sich lieber heute als morgen widersetzen sollte.

Leena Simon weist beim Fediday auf die Spielregeln für "erfolgreiches" Posting in Big-Tech-Netzwerken hin: Seicht, gefällig und bloß nicht zu intelligent. Reichweite gegen Geld. Klickformat, viele Bilder, hohe Frequenz. Pointiert, polarisierend, wutträchtig. Verkürzen, keine Outlinks setzen, unkonstruktiv diskutieren. In rechtsextremer Gesellschaft, die mehr Reichweite bekommt.

Yesterday after midnight at #FediDay, while we were still discussing politics, someone commented: We’re having a party and there are folks here discussing politics.

I replied: What can I do if I like politics more?

Ein paar der neuen Sticker, die ich gestern auf dem #Fediday in Berlin ergattert habe. Das tat echt wieder mal richtig gut, so viele inspirierende Menschen und Geschichten zu erleben.

Moin zusammen und euch einen gesunden Start in diesen Sonntag. Alles wird gut!

Szene: Mehrere Sticker und Kärtchen mit Motiven zu Open Source, Fediverse und Datenschutz liegen auf einer schwarzen Laptop-Tastatur. Motive oben: Links ein Stickerbogen mit Mastodon-Elefanten-Aufklebern und Umrissen bereits abgezogener Sticker.
