FAU's defense keeps rising to the occasion. Even after giving up a chunk play through the air earlier in the drive, the Owls force another punt. Josh Roberts had a TFL, while Joseph Sipp Jr. had the key sack on 3rd down. A great start for this unit. #FAU #CFB

After the first drive, FAU's defense has stepped up. LB Nate Fischer had a key first-down tackle, while Jayden Sweeney provided key 3rd down coverage. After a nice Easton Messer return, the Owls take over around midfield. #FAU #CFB

The Veltkamp-Messer connection is cooking early. After they connected for a 27-yard gain, the QB and WR connected on the double move for the score. FAU's offense is flowing through the duo, and they have the Owls up 14-7. #FAU #CFB

Navy, in short order, strikes back with a touchdown of their own. Following a big run from Michael Barrow, Braxton Woodson gets loose down the sideline for a 48-yard TD. Navy had NO issues running the ball on that drive against the Owls. The score is now 7-7. #CFB #FAU

The Owls are on the board! Caden Veltkamp throws a STRIKE deep down the field, hitting Easton Messer in stride. Messer then races all the way to the end zone for the 76-yard touchdown. After the PAT, FAU leads 7-0.

FAU, with their starters still in(??), drove all the way to the goal line. And on a key 4th down, the Owls run a speed option, which is immediately blown up by UF’s Brendan Brett. A completely befuddling play call in a key situation ends another drive with 0 points. #CFB #FAU

Following a gritty run from Caden Veltkamp to pick up a first down, FAU is on the board! RB Ethan Ervin powers into the end zone for the TD, capping off a great drive for him. The PAT is good, and UF's lead is now 17-7. #FAU #CFB

FAU is across midfield on their latest drive. Following a nice run from RB Ethan Ervin for a first down, Veltkamp finds Easton Messer and Dom Henry for chunk gains. The Owls are at the UF 27-yard-line. #FAU #CFB

Despite a big gain from Vernell Brown III, #FAU forces a Florida field goal attempt. Gavench Marcelin and Leon Hart Jr. made the key tackles for the Owls.

Patrick Durkin nails the 53-yard attempt for Florida with PLENTY of room to spare, and the Gators now lead 17-0.

Another FAU drive, another FAU punt. CB J'Vari Flowers had a key tackle on a screen. DE Emmanuel Oyebadejo, on 3rd down, pressured Veltkamp and helped to force an errant pass. Florida is dominating both sides of the ball in the first quarter. #CFB #FAU #UF

TD, Gators! Aaron Philo finds Bailey Stockton in space, and he does the rest, racing for a TD. FAU's lack of discipline (an issue from 2025!) killed them on this drive, and after the PAT, UF leads 14-0. #CFB #UF #FAU

Florida's defense comes through with a big stop after the score. CB Ben Hanks III had a great PBU, while DE Emmanuel Oyebadejo blew up a run play.

After the punt, UF takes over at FAU's 48-yard line. #UF #FAU
