Those who champion capital punishment are like those who call for a last-play-of-the-game-hail-Mary-pass, …

… but don’t want to be the quarterback, the receiver, or the person responsible for calling the play.

The loudest cheerleaders = least courageous.

There are, without a doubt, numerous humane ways to put someone to death.

Medical professionals that swear an oath to do no harm, can’t ethically participate.

Executioners, who struggle with their own morality & guilt, seek plausible deniability.

We know horrible things are happening

There is no demand to get inside, pictures that do get out aren't plastered everywhere. No real coverage of protests and they really ignore the daily chaos.

No demand for accountability

#connect Besides the 7, what about all the other men on that chat chain? What the hell is wrong with all of them? 40-something "men" and not a tiny bit of humanity among them. And the cop who doctored her statement, the DA didn't press charges. And men wonder why women would choose the bear.

@jacobsoboroff.bsky.social

The story is why are universities allowed to get between girls/women and their rapists

Why doesn't it go directly to the police??

Donald Trump told farmers that he had their back …

People are being disappeared, children separated from family, no reconciliation the last time he did this and now it's worse. It's cruel and, I fear, not the worst that is happening. #Connect #Connectors

Trump’s administration does not have the independent ability to produce an AI chatbot.

The America.gov AI chatbot is almost certainly a rebranded version of Elon’s Grok.

You know, the one that has the tendency to generate underage porn.

This in-depth interview with the clergy marching to protest ICE detention by @jacobsoboroff.bsky.social is very good journalism. #Connect #Connectors

The heat wave in October also a story, along with waves from off coast hurricanes destroying houses

The climate is also a story

You may have been out there but coverage of protests is not what it used to be

Cause protests are happening every day, in early states

The message of protests is a lot harder to get when the protests aren't being covered...

Also - many of these people have documentation, are being taken in at hearings

Republicans are also creating a need to not comply - so the very good system with people working and in a process to get legal status is being destroyed

And US citizens are being taken, or orphaned - no warning

It shouldn't have taken this long for this story to be covered

Detention for kids who have not committed any crimes is a concentration camp

Also, think about pets being left alone in houses and apartments

Not covering this story daily is a choice

#ConcentrationCamps #Connect

#InOtherNews

Concentration camp for kids is more important than a discussion on a report that you haven't read...

And @barbmcquade.bsky.social has to throw in - if it's good it's helpful - both sides

And the FBI hack is too important to ask random people what it means
