Lets.. call this day 2. Im going through some shit guys. Im going to he posting so much weird sad shit. Just a warning.

Yes. It doesn’t stop #Ash being a very enjoyable BL to watch, but it could’ve been really REALLY fabulously amazing to the end, but they didn’t achieve that. We mourn for the fall from superb to good!

I can imagine so many great situations and scenarios that would’ve given us frictions for these characters to deal with, hurdles to overcome, battles to win. And then we could have had so much make-up or celebration sex after each argument or win. We wanted all that, not silly OTT Shawn stuff. #Ash

What we truly wanted from the final ep(s) of #Ash was a proper reunion. Fei Foon finding his feet in this new world not as a cop, rubbing up against Leuk To’s formidable mum, bonding as a new big bro for Luk King, possible friction with A-Feng (since there were unrequited love undertones there).

Exactly exactly exactly! @tinacmml.bsky.social have germ discussing just this. Wasted airtime on ridiculous stuff and missed the opportunity to show us the really good stuff instead. #Ash

I couldn’t agree more! They needed a stricter editorial “red pen” to cut the unnecessary, ridiculous parts and then we could have ended with some great, meaty stuff with emotional depth, and that would’ve been actually far more gripping, interesting and enjoyable. #Ash

So glad I read that #Ash used AI so I know I can skip that drama.

I’ll be honest. Shawn’s ending felt OTT ridiculous to me. After spending 10 years building an international powerhouse criminal organisation with a highly competent business front, to just throw all that away in a moment seemed crazy. Anyway, if the book was way worse then I’m glad it was cut. #Ash

Yes, the morse code confession was cute, although we were robbed of a proper reunion and them saying I love you in person. And I wanted to see Fei Foon going up against (maybe even winning over) Leuk To’s formidable mum. The awkwardness of fitting into a new family. All that. I wanted it all. #Ash

I did watch the end of #Ash and I totally agree with you. The best parts of this show were: (1) them being sweet and/or sexy together, and (2) the tension between their different jobs/roles/perspectives. The love triangle/crime plot was weaker. I wanted to see them struggle and win other battles.

I now headcanon that Aang and Katara meeting and racing with Sonic and his friends in Sonic Racing Crossworlds is what partially inspired the Satomobiles and Air board in the Avatar universe. #SonicTheHedgehog #ATLA #TLOK #ASH
