On Atari ST, the Blitter is too slow for pushing 1000 8x8 ANSI chars in 16 clrs, so I tried some ASM routs.
Here are the first results (PETSCII image by Mermaid/GP) :
-left, Blitter : 1.135s
-right, ASM68k : 0.21s
