I have really loved the fight scenes in this. They aren't stylized for pretty, but seem more true to Jinqi's position & character as someone who fights by his own strength in combat/battle.

@alicepoonauthor.bsky.socialFans of #cdrama #AgainsttheCurrent now know the Shen family & Scholar Lu's family & Furong's family are wronged victims of the cruel Emperor (his name is Zhu Di in history). But the latter has a nemesis called Tang Sai'er, the woman rebel from Shandong! My wuxia duology tells how she tames Zhu Di!

@missienelly.bsky.socialDang, this drama doesn't care about how I feel. One minute I smile, another minute I cry. Two deaths in one episode is heartbreaking! #AgainstTheCurrent
@theonlygolden.bsky.socialEek! She needs an adult! Du Zheng is just skeezy at this point I don't care what anybody says! If Jinqi finds out he's sexing up his cousin, he's gonna be toting an ass whooping.

@theonlygolden.bsky.socialJinqi was released & respected by his brothers in arms, so why is Du Zheng silently brooding in the background and clenching his fist? And how did he afford such a nice Go set for his funky ass sister. These 2 are so damn sheisty!
