Strong start but the series only really started to shine once the ball got going. The lopsided focus on Yuru compared to Asa aside, there's very little to complain about in this series. Highly entertaining action romp with very likeable characters.

Yomi no Tsugai is my first Arakawa series. I got close to picking up Gin no Saji back when it aired and I might have watched the first episode—I'm not sure—but I knew how loved FMA is so I went in with at least some expectations.

It's pretty funny seeing Yuru act like a big brother to Azami. I'd love to see him grow fond of her and vow to protect her and then for him to meet Gabu-chan again, preferable with both Azami and Asa being present.

you can work with. S1 has had a lot of focus on Yuru and while I doubt there will be a complete flip over to mostly focusing on Asa, I would be surprised if Asa and Gabu-chan's screen time doesn't go way up in s2.

hopefully set the stage for what's to come. With Azami having been de factor adopted into Yuru's family and Gabu-chan being aware of what her actions make her but she's doing it for Asa's and her own sake, there's a *lot* there #ヨミツガ 24

Good episode! Very solid ending to the first season. Asa beat herself up and Gabu-chan was having none of that. The ep preview made me think there'd be more of those two in this ep but that scene, as well as all of Gabu-chan's scenes, did a lot of heavy lifting and #ヨミツガ 24

Oh fuck #

Ganbare #

So I'm guessing these either were or are still a big thing in Japan because Asa in Ikoku Nikki also had one. But then again these are the only two series I've seen an electronic dictionary in.

Pfffftahaha he's so prou—omg Azami's bear t-shirt #

S2 better have a *lot* of these three together #

Good Gabu-chan #
