#AwesomeCharacters Ashrah clearly sees herself as the incredible, talented, gorgeous, powerful, and wonderful warrior that she is, and if you disagree, it is obviously your perception of reality that is misguided!

(She does learn to see herself in a more... 🧵

Alhamad is kiiind of like this, even though it doesn't look like it from his rough exterior. Until he makes some very not-kind choices 😬

So... I'll give this to Johnny Cage. Why? Well... that I can't tell you, but trust me 🙂

#Septopolis 26. Ah, yes, this will be a long and not very cheerful one because Order is certainly upheld here... but is it a "civil servant system"? Absolutely not. As you probably guessed by now, law enforcement in Or̉el̉īs is… intense. It must be, if they wish to keep 🧵

#ChroniclesOfTheRealms

#AwesomeCharacters Ashrah has become quite the eclectic demon and has a few activities she can turn to. She endeavours to practice martial arts every day, including walking the circle for 1 hour if she has the time, and having someone to spar with is always nice!🧵

#SongsOfSeptember 26. I'm going with Ulorzz as the antagonist today, and oh, this song plays in my mind when I think about the confrontation between Ashrah and the Bearer late in Book 1 🔥

#Septopolis 26. At the head of the empire is the Council of Order with its three seats: one for the General of the Paladins of Ortela, one for the Magister of the Clerics of Aramas, and one for the Emperor. Currently, these are General Ūlasus, Magister Budīla, and 🧵

To be born without wings, what a tragedy...

#AwesomeCharacters Only in Eternal Flame, Ashrah has been burnt to ashes (multiple times before the book started), had her arm shredded once, her hand and arm mangled by a poisonous demon on another occasion, her spirit beaten, suffered a bunch of psychic damage 🧵

#ChroniclesOfTheRealms #SayaAshrah

#SongsOfSeptember 25. Maybe not "traditionally uplifting," but this song. This performance. Unforgettable.

Someone commented, "I don't understand French, but I love the part where her pain turned into glory." That's it; the story of many characters in #ChroniclesOfTheRealms.

Where is this from? Who's the POV? No clue. But I like the idea of a short story or flashback chapter showing the beginning of the Union Council.

#Septopolis 25. Or̉el̉īs is a beautiful, orderly prison. Think life here sucks and want to leave? Bad news, mate. You were born here, you'll live here your entire life unless you manage to escape. Alorvu may be seen as inferior, as not true citizens, yet they can't leave 🧵

#ChroniclesOfTheRealms

#AwesomeCharacters Ashrah and Sareena would watch a lot of horror films across all subgenres! Haunted houses is something they'd enjoy exploring too... you know, I should write a short story based on this premise.

Ashrah would also try 🧵

#Septopolis 24. Or̉el̉īs has many parks where vanalāras can relax and socialise (and the alorvu also have those in the outer city)—they may be authoritarian elves, but they still appreciate nature! Sometimes, there are also free theatre performances in those.

Some taverns 🧵

#AwesomeCharacters The cast of #ChroniclesOfTheRealms has a few of them. In the MC group, Askaly, Kitana, and Mileena are... well, pansexual, really. They all end up with women as their romantic partners, but we do see or hear about their branching romantic interests.

#ChroniclesOfTheRealms

Lesbians. Always lesbians.

And while I welcome all species, I'd especially like more lesbian demons.

Both included in my (to-be-released) work, #ChroniclesOfTheRealms (and my #WorldWithoutLove series is also full of fierce lesbians) :3

#Septopolis 23. Or̉el̉īs, as well as a big part of Āradanū, has a strong tradition of theatre. Called aramuc̉is, this theatre form combines the techniques (c̉is̉aras) of music and dance (aral̉īs) and what they call “personification/embodiment” (“muranam”) aka acting, and it's 🧵

#QueerPrompts 23. Of the MCs in #ChroniclesOfTheRealms, Askaly, Mileena, and Kitana are pan.

Of the SCs... honestly, most of them are pan—the White Lotus monks (except Sonya), Alhamad, Shao Kahn, Taven and Daegon, Fujin, Baraka, Shujinko, Kano. Some, like Kira, are pansexual and panspecies 😅
