A Clouded Yellow, a yellow butterfly, on a yellow hawkbit flower in the sun
Three Swallow chicks in a line in centre of picture. All three with beaks wide open that are yellow with a touch of orange at the back of their throats. There plumage is black and they are inside a specially made nesting. Above them are wooden panels that are on the underside of the buildings roof, which is the cafe at RSPB Bempton Cliffs.

Pelican
A pair of cute little young barn swallows are side by side perched on a lighting wire under a patio roof with one of the bulbs hanging down beneath them. They were hanging around for lengthy periods waiting for food to be brought to them. An alternative caption would be: “that ‘just eat’ delivery is taking its time isn’t it!” as the parent were repeatedly flying in with food and back out again at 100mph.
