I'm beyond excited to announce I was just notified my screenplay, Stalked, has won Best Short Screenplay in the Screenplay Critics Award Competition. What a great way to finish off the weekend. #scriptsky

When you look up the tonal comps for your movie and they are ALL Christopher Landon films, well.

That feels like a sign. #ScriptSky

Yeah, found another open window through which to hurl VAMPICONDA!

One day, darlin'. One day.

I’m going to be the Grey List eligible this year which is a lovely reframing of turning 40. #scriptsky

Been grinding away all weekend on the latest draft of NEW HOPE, and I'm SO CLOSE to getting done! 😁

This one's really singing. And disturbing AF.

#Scriptsky

And that’s a ✅ on this draft of Can You Stay Late at 95 pages. It took a bit of editing and puzzle work but we got there people. 💪

Now do I pivot to something new today or head into another edit job?

my weekends are so busy, writing-wise: three (!!) different writing group meetings (one on saturday, two on sunday)

it's a nice way to spend a weekend! but it means that i get almost none of my own work done #scriptsky

This month's movie: Pixar's UP.‼️ "THE FIRST 10 PAGES" is a 30-min podcast that dives into how your favorite stories unfold and has a lot of fun along the way (special guest GOOFY narrates the script this time!😄)...

A month from hosting the WGF-SAG Veterans Table Read Series event for my own queer horror comedy feature. Doing final revisions and trying to balance the excitement and terror in my heart 😹🙀

Now I know how all the writers we’ve hosted the past three years felt!

Today I almost started another totally pointless stupid waste of time writing project, but then sanity mounted a comeback and I deleted the notion before further damage was done.

Almost October, so it's time to promote my horror sequel to "A Christmas Carol"

Austin Film Festival is coming up. It felt like maybe a good time for a reminder: Don't be a film festival asshole. #screenwriting #writing #afwnews #film #festival #filmfestival #scriptsky

I went walking in Para Wirra - just a stroll on well-signposted paths in a well-established park.

It's beautiful, but I was struck by how easy it would be to get lost in on land that's not dense thick forest. And that made its way into FAR AS THE CROW FLIES

I was watching a movie and just enjoying it as a piece of art.
Then I noticed the very obvious Act I break and now I’m starting to analyze it like a writer.
Dammit, I just wanted to watch a movie, not work!

Hey #ScriptSky , what places inspire you to write?

I’m always inspired by the different places I’ve been to, but I remember going here as a kid and immediately wanting to go home to write a story about it!

Drop a pic of a place that has inspired your #Screenwriting!
