As Ceres strode over, she honed in on the target, assessing her strategy. The guy was clearly all over the girl, who was giggling and leaning on him as she took sips out of his drink. They didn’t seem ‘together’ exactly..although he seemed like he might have liked it to be. As Ceres approached, the girl locked gazes with her, and the sweet smile seemed to fade. Her eyes grew wide, taking the full sight of Ceres in. The Sea Elf fought to keep her face neutral, but couldn’t resist the faintest trace of a smirk. Everyone had their special skillsets, and this, for better or for worse, was hers. She’d had decades to make mistakes, to hone it, and now she wielded her beauty with a scalpel’s precision.

“Hey!” the guy barked in surprise, the remains of his shitty drink spilling over his gray hoodie. His frown faltered as he caught sight of her. “Watch your fuckin’ elbow…oh…” the word escaped his mouth, almost like an afterthought. She sized him up and down, evaluating for a split second, calculating her strategy.

Nah. “Sorry.” She turned to the girl. “What were you drinking? Can I buy you another?” And she flashed the girl a winning smile, a Ceres special.
