Some #mnwild news from the @pioneerpress.bsky.social — www.twincities.com/2026/09/20/j...

Wild vs Blackhawks pre-season: The Ugly: Not a surprise but the Wild power play looked rather rough. Good thing that won’t be Minnesota’s power play this year. Pre-season games are kind of sloppy by nature. #mnwild

Wild vs Blackhawks pre-season: The Bad: Officials getting in the way and setting picks that led to Chicago taking the lead in the 2nd period. Not a lot of quality shots after the 1st period. #mnwild

Wild vs Blackhawks pre-season: The Good: Charlie Stramel was good on his draws. Rieger Lorenz with a goal and an assist. Daemon Hunt looked comfortable out there and had the game winning goal. #mnwild

Goal stands, Wild win 3-2 in OT over Chicago. #mnwild

#48 Hunt with the goal for the #mnwild

Wild win in OT! Or did they as Daemon Hunt scores on the rebound to give Minnesota a 3-2 win. Now under review. #mnwild

Good goal and the #mnwild take the win 3-2 in overtime.

And we're underway in the overtime session between the #mnwild and Blackhawks

Wild and Chicago tied at 2-2 after three. Lorenz and Sturm with the Wild goals. Onto overtime. #mnwild

Regulation ends 2-2 and that means some overtime action in this preseason game #mnwild

Wild goal! Sturm taps home Maatta’s pass tying the game at 2-2 in the 3rd. Lorenz with a secondary assist. #mnwild

Nice set up by #3 Maatta and nice finish by #78 Sturm who ties it up 2-2 for the #mnwild and this crowd is into it

#mnwild head to the power play as #75 Felcman gets called for tripping. Still 2-1 in favor of the Blackhawks with 8:29 to go in the final period

#mnwild get a chance on the power play as #75 Felcman gets called for holding in a 2-1 Blackhawks lead

Back for the third period with the #mnwild trailing the Blackhawks 2-1 and killing a penalty

Why are some teams doing 2 sets of split squad games and some doing 4 preseason games? MtL is at least playing their big guns in a game .. #mnwild not so much

Wow!!! Intermission game: a fan just won season tickets to the #mnwild as he sent an absolute snipe through the hole at the center of the net they had set up. What a shot!
