🆙 after 2!!

#Isles

#Isles up 3-0 after 2. Very strong 40 minutes from NYI. They've looked fast all night long against a #NJDevils team who is notorious for their speed. They've crashed the net. They've been strong on the PK. Scored on the PP.

Crowd cheers as they leave the ice, as they should.

Holmstrom gets in front of a one-timer and then Duclair dives to get the puck out of the zone. #Isles

#Isles PK is on another level tonight. Doing all the little things right. Getting sticks in lanes. Winning puck battles. They get another kill to keep it 3-0.

Power play goal for New York!

#Isles to the PK

HIS FIRST AS THE CAPTAIN 🚨

3-0 #Isles

Sorokin is doing a fantastic job tracking the puck. Rebound control wasn't as sharp on Wednesday. It's been much sharper tonight and he's also finding the puck after the save at a significantly faster rate, allowing him to get readjusted for a potential rebound try. #Isles

Matthew Schaefer is so unbelievably good. I can’t believe he’s a New York Islander! 2-point night so far. #Isles

Bo Horvat's first goal as captain of the #Isles

#NJDevils were thinking of challenging for offside but Schaefer kept a rolling puck from coming out of the zone. #Isles

EL CAPITAN BO SCOREVAT PPG!!!!! #Isles

The Islanders are cooking
