GOAL: JACKSSON! Villa's striker equalises just moments after Yehor Yarmolyuk's opener.

#AVFC 1-1 Brentford

GOAL: Yehor Yarmolyuk opens the scoring for Brentford. Tyrone Mings gives the ball away under pressure, and Villa fail to deal with the resulting cross. The ball falls to Yarmolyuk to score.

Great reading of the game from Jackson, glad we got back level quickly! #avfc #utv

Jackson! #AVFC #UTV

Nicooooo!!!

What a response! Really soft goal to concede (poor from Mings to start it), but immediate response. Great play from Nicolas Jackson, alert to the deflected effort and composed finish to bring us back into it.

1-1, 12'

#avfc

#AVFC hit back immediately through Jackson. Brentford's goal had come from them showing the ball to Mings since the first goal kick and continuing to do so out of possession. Mings' pass then intercepted and Brentford attack down the right.

NICOLAS JACKSON YOU BEAUTY

#AVFC

Glad I found a stream, this is end to end! Terrible from Tyrone. Well played Jackson. More goals in this for sure #avfc

Yehor Yarmoliuk 10' — Goal for Brentford. Aston Villa 1–1 Brentford. Premier League

What a reply from Villa and from Jackson! Such a well placed strike…

Nicholas Jackson, that's what #avfc !!!

Mings. 🤦‍♂️ #AVFC #UTV

Bloody hell. That was classic Tyrone Mings. Now what? #avfc

Good work from Manzambi to buy the foul there #AVFC

No banners drooping across the width of the upper tier of the Holte End this afternoon. Looks strange.

#AVFC

Just seen the North Stand dubbed the "Hole End" 🤣 #AVFC

Johan Manzambi largely operating as a right 10, aiming to create overloads down that side with McGinn and Cash. But he has already popped up on the left, so has freedom to drift across. Joao Gomes making his Villa Park debut and has to be good in finding those neat passes under pressure today. #AVFC

McGinn should've played that back to Gomes rather than immediately trying to play Jackson in #AVFC
