Got a quote for add'l #solar panels and a 15-kWh battery and holy hell the price was high. I really expected prices to have come down or stayed flat since we first installed our PV system ~5 years ago.

It's the beginning of October but here in the UK some say #solar only works in mid summer.

Oddly though my little home solar installation has filled a 10kWh battery, heated a tank of hot water, is powering the house and also now exporting to the Grid earning me money. Seems ok in October here!
